The Head of Collection Services leads the delivery of core collection management functions that
support the care, access, and preservation of the Memorial’s National Collection. The role provides
leadership across Collection Services, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality outcomes
aligned with the Memorial’s priorities.

Working as part of the National Collection leadership team, you will drive performance, build
capability, and embed consistent processes that support the long-term stewardship of the collection


Position Eligibility

Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).

All applicants external to AWM that are offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a National Police Check, even if they currently hold a security clearance. The check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance
