ABOUT THE POSITION:

Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Production Manager to support the creative and technical development, prototyping, and installation of exhibitions and experiences. You'll be managing a team of project managers, producers and site managers working on permanent galleries and incoming touring exhibitions but may also use your amazing skills on other projects for the galleries, foyers, and public spaces at any of Museums Victoria's venues. As a Senior Production Manager, you'll work in partnership with cross-functional teams to guide and direct the creation of innovative visitor experiences.

Notable skills and experiences:

The successful applicant will have:

Confidence in managing and supporting a team of Project Managers in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated experience managing all elements of a project from concept to delivery and installation
Experience building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Expertise in creating and tracking schedules and budgets for major projects and confident communicating progress to department teams, working and steering groups
An interest in museums and visitor attractions and the motivation to bring high-quality innovative experiences to our visitors.

OTHER INFORMATION:

This is a full time (1.0 FTE), fixed term (12 months) position.

The salary on offer is $106,534 per annum (Base of Grade) plus 11% superannuation.
