Education Programs Producer (STEM)
Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking an Education Programs Producer (STEM) to develop and deliver curriculum-based programs to meet the learning needs of diverse education audiences.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The position is accountable for developing and delivering education programs that meet Museums Victoria’s objectives and priorities, consistent with the requirements of the Department of Education (DoE), including the Strategic Partnerships Program and Victorian Catholic Education Authority (VCEA).
NOTABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Develop and implement STEM-focused curriculum programs and materials across various educational levels (Early Years, F-12, tertiary, and adult), ensuring alignment with Museums Victoria’s objectives and current curriculum standards.
• Provide expert guidance on curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and student engagement strategies to museum staff involved in program development and exhibition delivery, integrating STEM across physical venues and online platforms.
• Create and deliver engaging virtual learning programs using various digital tools, catering to the needs of students and teachers.
• Stay updated on external STEM trends and issues, advising staff and senior management on relevant developments to enhance program relevance and effectiveness.
• Establish and nurture specialist networks in Sciences and Technology education, organising forums to promote best practices in program design and resource development.
• Conduct regular evaluations of education programs, analysing feedback from students and teachers for reporting purposes to educational bodies such as DOE and VCEA.
• Supervise and provide feedback to museum staff delivering educational programs, ensuring adherence to high presentation and educational content standards.
• Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, including educational institutions, professional teaching organisations, and STEM industries, to support Museums Victoria’s strategic objectives.

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a Full-time Fixed-term (12 months) position. The salary on offer is $92,332 based on grade (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation.
