Canberra Glassworks is the largest glassmaking facility dedicated to studio glass in the Southern Hemisphere. Located in the heritage listed, Kingston Powerhouse, the Glassworks offers state of the art workshops, a gallery that presents an annual program of curated exhibitions of work by Australia’s finest glass artists, and a retail shop with an extensive range of beautiful handmade glass objects.
Canberra Glassworks are looking for a highly organised great communicator to manage the public programs. These include a range of workshops, classes and tours that allow the general public to have a hands-on experience in the making of glass. Our range of programs includes one- and two-day creative workshops for adults, short classes to make an object, school holiday workshops and tours of the facility for adult groups and schools.

As well as managing bookings and enrolment for participants you will be required to roster teaching artists, liaise with our retail team and work closely with our administration team. This is a leadership position for someone with either teaching or high-level administration skills who loves working with a diverse range of people in a creative environment. Occasional weekend work may be required.
